Norman Davis, 88, of East Petersburg, passed away on July 23, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Eggleston, VA he was the son of the late Millard Davis and Ruth (Mabry) Davis and the beloved husband the late Margaret Davis, his wife of 62 years, who passed in 2017. Norman was a former owner of The Village Lamppost Luncheonette and a driver for Moore Dairy, Baby's DyDee, and the Manheim Auto Auction. In his spare time, he loved bowling, playing cards, and camping at the Woodlands in MD. While down at the Woodlands he would play harmonica, his true passion, in the band The Pickers. He is survived by his children; Karen Mull and her husband Michael, Linda Hankle and her husband Steven Romich, and Michael Davis and his fiancé Diana Roark, all of East Petersburg, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his half-brother Rayford Davis and step-siblings Grayson Smith, Jesse Smith, and Francis Tuttle. He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret Davis, parents Millard and Ruth Davis, sisters Ann Troop and Jane Dunlap, and his step-mother Lillian Smith- Davis. A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday July 28, 2018 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with Father Steve Arena officiating. Guests will be received prior to the service starting at 10:00AM.
