Nolan Michael Himes, 23, of Lititz, PA passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 after a courageous 4 year battle with Ewings Sarcoma. Born in Lancaster, PA he was a son of Mike E. Himes and Lisa Bonfield both of Lititz, PA. Nolan graduated in 2011 from Warwick High School where he was a member of the Lacrosse team. He loved playing lacrosse, hanging out with his friends, listening to music, traveling, going to the beach especially St. Martin, and Dewey Beach, playing basketball and enjoyed exercising. Nolan never knew a stranger and never let his fight with cancer get him down. He wanted to live life and spend as much time with his friends and family as he could. He attended Slippery Rock University to study Physical Therapy and was a member of the lacrosse team. In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother Brady N. Himes; maternal grandmother Rachelle Rickens-Bonfield of Lititz, PA; maternal Aunt Marianne Bonfield; paternal Aunts Pam Harding, Patti Martin and Carol Keith; paternal Uncle Wayne Shenk; great Aunt and Uncle Marianne and Reggie Bonfield and numerous cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John Bonfield. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:30AM from the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike Lititz, PA 17543. A visitation will be held from 5-8pm Friday evening and from 9:30-11:30am on Saturday at the funeral home.
