Nila E. Weaver, 89, of Manheim Township, died peacefully at Lancaster General Hospital on Friday, January 16, 2015, and is now in the hands of her loving Lord. She was born in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Walter and Ellida Mary (Hall) Stauffer. Nila celebrated 47 years of marriage with her husband Donald A. Weaver last June 3rd.

She worked as a tube testing technician at RCA for 35 years. Nila Loved The Lord and had been a member of the former Lancaster Moravian Church. An amazing seamstress, she loved to sew for friends and family. Nila enjoyed trips to the beach in Lewes, DE, and she loved her cats Tommy and Tammy.

Nila is survived by her husband Donald, her daughter Elaine G. Alexander, wife of the late Robert C. of Arlington, WA, and her brother Donald Stauffer, husband of Gail of Lititz. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ray Stauffer, husband of Lilly of Mount Joy and Glenn Stauffer.

Nila's family will greet friends 10 to 11 AM, followed by the memorial service at 11 AM, on Friday, January 23, 2015, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, with Rev. Robert G. Hunsicker officiating. Interment in Erisman Mennonite Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
