Newton Cook, 89, of Lititz and formerly of Rawlinsville, passed away on March 7, 2024.

He was the husband of the late Nancy Jane Rinier Cook, who passed away in 2014. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary Kuhlman.

Newton was a shoe salesman for 50 years, selling shoes from manufacturers to retail shoe stores. In his early career, he had worked for Shaubs's Shoe Store in Lancaster. Following his retirement, he worked as a mini-bus driver for Red Rose Transit Authority in southern Lancaster County.

He loved his German Shepherd dogs, owning three throughout his lifetime. He also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with his wife in their motorhome.

Newton is survived by his daughter, Karen married to Randy Vollmer of Millersville, his grandson Matthew married to Allison Vollmer, and by his great grandson Bennett, all of Lititz.
