Nereida Delgado, 71, of Lancaster died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Ignacio Delgado and Sara Vazquez. Nereida was an inspector at Weaver Poultry Company for 15 years.

Surviving are two daughters: Migdalia Gueits, Lancaster, Jocelyn wife of Edgar Juarbe, Lancaster, one son: Miguel A. Rivera husband of Sonia Douila, Vega Alta PR, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a brother Ignacio Delgado Vazquez, Lancaster

Funeral services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Robledo officiating.
