Nelson Seda, 74, of Lancaster, went into the arms of the Lord on February 8, 2022 with his loving wife by his side. Born in Manhattan, he was the son of the late Juan Ramon Seda and Clara Acevedo Ayala. He was the devoted husband of Maribel Seda for over 44 years.

Nelson was a man that was dedicated to his faith. He and Maribel were long time members of Cristo Es El Refugio for over 20 years. He enjoyed playing basketball, cowboys and horses, in his youth. Those will fondly remember Nelson for his love of reading, studying his Bible and his sense of humor.

He will be sorely missed by his wife Maribel; children: Vivian L. Ramirez, Lizzette A. Anders, Milin I. Dueño, Nelson Seda, Jr., and Nelson Ezequiel Seda, all of Lancaster; 5 brothers, 6 sisters, 8 granddaughters, and countless extended family. He was preceded in passing by his parents, a sister and two brothers.

A Funeral service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602 on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 6 PM. Guests are invited to attend a viewing from 5:30 PM until the time of service. An additional viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 10 AM. Following the viewing, interment will take place at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
