Ned D. Gardner, 77, of Lititz, PA passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016. Born in McAdenville, N.C., son of the late J.D. and Hazel (Austin) Gardner. In addition to his wife Sheila, the love of his life for over 55 years, Ned is survived by his children and grandchildren: Daniel, David (Brooke, sons Griffin and Aden), Mary Ann Johnston (AJ, sons Devin and Kyle), Amanda Jones (Jay, son Ian and daughter Olivia), by three brothers: Frank (Bobbie), Joe (Joyce) and Ron (Kathy) and by a host of loving nieces and nephews. Nothing was more important to him than his family, his faith and his friends. Ned was the President and Founder of High Food Services. He was active in the Highland Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and was a former member of the Presbyterian Senior Living Board for 12 years serving as Chairman for a period and recently inducted into the Chairman's Circle. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Conestoga CC and the Riverwood CC. He was a charter member of 'The Charlie's'. A Celebration of Ned's Life will be held at 10AM on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Rd. Lancaster, PA 17601. Family and friends will be received immediately following the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ned's memory may be made to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
