IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nathaniel T.
Wilds
March 13, 2023
Nathaniel T. Wilds, 85, of Lancaster, returned to the arms of the Lord, March 13, 2023. He was born April 9, 1937, to Randolph T. Wilds and Pearline Jerry-Wilds.
He was the fourth of six children. Nathaniel was formally educated in the Darlington County School District. He later lived in Cambridge Maryland, then settled in Lancaster Pennsylvania.
Nathaniel was devout in his faith and accepted Christ through water baptism and the infilling of the Holy Ghost under the leadership of the late Bishop Lloyd E. Swaringer. In 2001 brother Wilds became a member of the House of Bread Life Changing Ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Michael and co-Pastor Abadella Gant, where he was an active part of the men's Ministry. He was a loyal dedicated servant unto the Lord, and faithful until his death. Nathaniel was all about his family and loved them dearly. He was a suave dresser, who had the gift of gab. And was affectionately known as Uncle T.W. to many nieces and nephews. He was a kind man, who would give his last to help those in need. Nathaniel always valued the truth and planted the seeds of faith wherever he went. He was humble and patient to no end. And like his son Nathaniel P. would say, "he had the Agape love of God."
Left to treasure Nathaniel's memory is his beloved wife Geraldine Wilds; his children Nathaniel "Peter" Gillespie, husband of Lizzett Gillespie, Trenton Lee Davis, Shelby Davis, Monae Collymore, and Denise Felder. His sisters Mary Wallace, and Mrs. Mamie Belcher, and the mothers of his grandchildren; Mari Lozano, Marilyn Glenn, and Maryann Winkle. A host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and church family. Along with his parents he was preceded in his passing by a brother and two sisters, and his son Toby L. Wilds.
A funeral service will take place March 25, 2023, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz at 11AM. Family invites guests to a viewing one hour prior to service. Nathaniel will be put to rest at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery following service. In Lieu of flowers a donation in Nathaniel's memory may be made to House Of Bread Life Changing Ministries, 844 E. Chestnut St, Lancaster PA 17602
