Nancy L. Fahnestock Pfautz, 88, of Lititz, passed away November 20, 2017. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Wayne G. and Bernice(Brenneman) Fahnestock. Nancy was married to the late Paul Pfautz. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, but Nancy was also a home economist, having showcased how to cook on gas stoves. Nancy was a member of the Moravian Church of Lititz and the order of the Eastern Star. She was known for a wit that was all her own and her good nature. Also, her love of playing cards, especially pinochle. Nancy is survived daughter, Cheryl Howells, of Phoenix, MD; son, Robert Howells and wife, Kimberly, of Lancaster; granddaughters Alexis Kirchner and husband, Joshua, Rachel Howells; step-grandchildren Amanda Gockley and Conrad Liebl; and sister-in-law, Vivian Fahnestock. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Fahnestock. A Memorial Service for Nancy will be held at 4PM, Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Moravian Manor, 300 West Lemon St., Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to the Lititz Moravian Church, 8 Church Square, Lititz, PA 17543, for the Book of Remembrance Fund.
