Nancy Houston O'Hara, 91, passed away on December 13, 2017 at Moravian Manor, Lititz, PA. She was born January 17, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Wallace B. and Josephine (Hunt) Houston. She was a longtime Lititz resident and was the retired Executive Director for Moravian Manor, Lititz, where she served from 1980 to 1995. Nancy received her Nursing degree in 1947 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Lancaster, PA. An active member of her church and the Episcopal Diocese of Central Pennsylvania, she also served various community charities, including as a board member of Hospice of Lancaster County. Nancy was also an accomplished needlepoint artist, a published writer and watercolorist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. O'Hara, three brothers; Rev. Wallace B. Houston, John M. Houston, Herbert A. Houston, and her cousin Robert Hunt. Survivors include her children: Patricia Frese (Mark), of Dauphin, PA, Daniel O'Hara (Victoria), of Tarpon Springs, FL, Sally Landback (Fr. Robert), of New Haven, CT, Darcy O'Hara, of Nashua, NH, and nine grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, January 13, 2018 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 301 St Thomas Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601. Following the service, a reception will be held at Moravian Manor.
