Nancy L. Frick, 76, of Lititz, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Virginia (Plummer) Wallace. She was the loving wife of Charles H. Frick, Jr. with whom she shared over 53 years of marriage. She graduated from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio with a Bachelor's degree in Education. Teaching remained her passion throughout her life. She taught pre-school, elementary school and English as a second language in Ohio, Arizona and Pennsylvania. Even in her later years she tutored neighborhood children in reading. For over 20 year she worked in the Manheim Central Schools. Nancy enjoyed shopping, traveling here and abroad, enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her dog, Dallas. Nancy was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster where she served as a Deacon and taught Sunday school for many years. She also volunteered her time for Contact Helpline of Lancaster. In addition to her husband Charles, she is survived by her son, Alec Frick, Esquire, husband of Adele who reside in Baltimore, Maryland; grandchildren, Eric, Evan, Claire and Carter and nephews, John, Jay and Peter. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Phyllis and Dory. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Monday, September 25, 2017, at First Presbyterian Church, 140 E. Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602 with Rev. Geoff Kohler officiating. Interment will follow in New Providence Church of God Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the church on Monday.
