Nancy Jane Brubaker, 74, of Lancaster, passed away, Monday, February 14, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County Essa Flory Center. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Crossen) Hubert. Nancy was the wife of the late Charles Brubaker.

Nancy was a self employed house keeper who became very close and was a part of every family she served. Nancy enjoyed playing bingo with her friends at Prince Street Towers South Building, puzzles, traveling, especially day trips, and most of spending time with her family.

Nancy is survived by 5 children; Neva Jean Lane of Lancaster, Nita Joan Burkey of Lancaster, Noreen Jill Vance wife of Stacy of Lancaster, Natalie June Minnich of Robesonia, Pa., and John Albert Fasig Jr. husband of Kim of Manheim, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son Nelson Spence Burkey, and a sister, Patsy Bush.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602. Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
