Nancy "Mary Ann" Polny, 62, of 201 Becker Rd., Lititz, PA went home to her husband on Monday, April 7, 2008.

She was the loving and devoted wife of the late Edward J. Polny, who passed away in 1996. Born in Newark, NJ, Nancy was the daughter of the late John P. and Cathrine Duffy Byron.

She had worked as a teacher's aide at the Owl Hill Learning Center in Lititz for 3 years, until 2002.

Nancy was of the Catholic faith.

Family was of great importance to her, and it was her pride and joy to be a grandmother to her 3 grandsons, and  a  proud mother of her two daughters. She had been very active and involved in drum corps and color guards throughout her life.

Nancy is survived by her daughters: Lynn  married to Joel Benecke of Columbia, PA, and Megan  married to Scott Smith of Lititz, PA; her 3 grandsons: Jackson E. Benecke, Edward S. Smith and Logan D. Benecke; 2 brothers Jack Byron of Verona, NJ and Jim Byron of Hopatcong, NJ and a sister Peggy Weiss of Rockland, Maine.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 11AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, NJ.
