Nancie E. Doyle

Nancie Doyle, of Lancaster, passed away at home, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Huntington, New York, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and service.

Nancie was the loving wife of Robert Doyle, with whom she shared 52 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a family that was the center of her world. She was the devoted mother of Heather (Doyle) Lash and Kelly Doyle, and the proud Mom-Mom of Maverick and Dalton Lash.

Nancie was a woman who never met a stranger. She was funny, outgoing, and was an unforgettable storyteller, who had a bright smile, and a warm hug.

Nancie had many passions throughout her life, but few things compared to her love of horses. She shared that passion by teaching riding lessons and giving others the opportunity to experience the same joy. Her love for animals extended to her beloved dogs, many of whom became familiar faces throughout the community

Nancie devoted her life to caring for others whether through her years as a nurse or through her volunteer work. She and her dogs brought comfort to countless people, reflecting the compassion that defined her. Above all, she cherished being a grandmother, filling Maverick and Dalton's lives with adventure, encouragement, and unwavering love.

She is survived by her husband Robert; daughters Heather and Kelly; grandsons Maverick and Dalton; brother Don (Sandy); nieces Karrie (Mike) and Taryn; and extended family members.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 12:30PM at Spring Hill Farm, 921 Ranck Rd., New Holland (East Earl Twp.) with Rev. Betsy Bruaw officiating. Dress is casual and guests are encouraged to wear purple in honor of pancreatic cancer victims, or Blue and Green which were Nancie's riding colors.
