Miriam Rios, 60, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer on August 19, 2024. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Justo Rios and Miguelina Torres.

Miriam worked over 28 years in production for Sensing Devices, Inc. in Lancaster, PA. She had a strong faith in the Lord and her family will affectionately remember her as caring, generous, loving, humble, strong, and a true fighter. She enjoyed spending time with her large family and beloved nieces and nephews. Miriam often spent time watching movies and playing puzzles, and many knew of her love of all things sweet. She had an amazing sense of humor.

Miriam is survived by her 7 siblings: Ismael Rios (Rosalina), Alcides Rios (Carmen), Edwin Rios (Elizabeth), Augustine Rios, Celia Stokes (John), Maribel Sealover (Jack), and Iris Rios Torres; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive guests from 10-11 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602. A service will begin at 11 AM with interment to follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully received.
