Miriam R. Gish, 92, of 200 St. Luke Drive, Lititz, died Monday, May 29, 2006, in Lititz after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late Daniel H. Gish, who died in 2002. Born in Lancaster, Miriam was the daughter of the late William F. and Gertrude Sides Rosenberger.

She was homemaker, and enjoyed needlework, playing the piano, and reading.

Miriam was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill in Lititz. She had also served at the Lancaster General Hospital as a Grey Lady for 10 years, and also on the hospital's Auxiliary. She also served as a Dolphin at Brethren Village.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara G.,  married to Leo A. Kormann of Chesapeake, VA; 2 grandchildren: David,  married to Elinda Kormann; and Susan,  married to Kevin Jurnigan; and 2 great grandchildren: Jack and Andrew Kormann.

Friends will be received at the Chapel of the Good Samaritan at Luther Acres, 600 E. Main St., Lititz, PA  on Thursday from 12Noon to 1PM, with the funeral service to follow at 1PM. Interment in Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill Cemetery.
