Mildred C. Wiggins, 84, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2011 at LGH. She was born in Lancaster to the late Richard C. and Catherine A. (Hiltz) Gerstly Styer.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Veryl B. Wiggins in 2002. They were married on February 22, 1946.

She retired after 25 years from the Tube Department at RCA.

Mildred was a former member of the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church.

She was a resident of Evergreen Estates Retirement Center for nine years and enjoyed participating in there many activities.

Mildred is survived by a daughter, Robin L. wife of James Broomall, of Newark, DE, a granddaughter, Kristen, wife of Greg Yaros, a great grandson, Christian Yaros, and a brother, Jay Reginald, husband of Nancy Rittenhouse, of Clarksville, TN. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy M. Hartranft, of Leola, and two sisters, Shirley M. Long, of Lancaster, and Mary E. Myers.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA at 10am. Family and friends are invited to a viewing at Snyder's from 9-10am. Interment will be in Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery.
