Obituary

Mildred L. "Milly" Rollin, 97, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025, at her home. Born in East Earl Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles G. and Anna (Keller) Crouse. Milly was the loving wife of Albert Frank Rollin who died in 1982. Milly was devoted to her faith and was an active member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ, Lititz, where she sang in the church choir for over 50 years and served as Deacon. She graduated from Manheim High School. She worked several jobs including Welcome Wagon hostess and secretarial positions including many years at the Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies where she worked as Executive Secretary and Office Manager. Milly enjoyed both traveling and listening to music. She was a voracious reader, who was always in the midst of a good mystery novel. Watching international soccer was a passion of Milly's, even as her eyesight failed, and she had to sit closer and closer to the television to see the action. Milly was a warm and caring person who was very much interested in the lives of others and listened deeply when an ear was needed. She was genuine and kind to others along her walk of life. Her biggest passion was her family, raising five daughters, while instilling her strong character and work ethic in the next five generations of her family.

Surviving are five daughters, Barbara Horst, Diana Rollin, Georgia Rollin, Patty Rollin wife of Chuck Levergood, Mary Kay wife of Jeff Garner; grandchildren, Jen, Erin, Sam, Chip, Brad; great grandchildren, Bri, Nate, Julian, Olivia, Vinh, Lily as well as two great-great grandchildren, Estelle and Ezra. Preceding her in passing are two grandchildren, Michael and Sharon as well as two brothers and a sister.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service for Milly at St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 222 North Broad Street, Lititz, PA 17543, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Refreshments will be served after the service at St. Luke's. A private interment will be scheduled at a later date at Old Zion German Reformed Church Cemetery, Brickerville.
