The family of Mildred "Millie" L. Seace wish to announce her passing on July 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Millie was born in Harrisburg to Merrill A. and Mildred E. Rodkey and was the loving wife of George Seace until his passing in 2015.

Millie was a gifted painter and crafter. She dedicated many years as a design painter for K & M Woodworking. In her leisure, she enjoyed gardening in her flower beds, crocheting, country line dancing, and taking motorcycle trips with George. She had a deep affinity for her cats.

Her love and memories will live on in her children, Patrick R. Schaeffer, husband of Debbie of Chicago, Mark A. Schaeffer, husband of Diana of Lancaster, and Bob L. Schaeffer of Columbia, as well as her 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents and siblings, Charles Shadow, Emma Smith, and Merrill Rodkey, Jr., and her son, Franklin Schaeffer.

A funeral service honoring Millie will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Spacht Snyder Family Funeral Home, 127 S. Broad St. Lititz, PA 17543, beginning at 11 AM. The family will welcome guests from 10 – 11 AM. Interment to follow at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Brickerville. Memorial contributions in Millie's name may be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg .
