Mildred A. (Kurkowski) Snyder, 68, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Conestoga View Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of the late Kermit G. Snyder, who died in 2008. They had been married 20 years. She was the daughter of the late Alfred O. and Mildred B. (Shields) Williams Kurkowski.

Mildred was a 1963 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church.

She enjoyed needlework, crocheting, and crossword puzzles, and was employed in the production department of RCA/Burle Industries.

She is survived by her sister, Shirley J. Kandolf and her husband Paul M. of Lancaster; three nieces, two nephews, and seven great-nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin T. Williams, and a nephew, James Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 23, 2013 in the Chapel at Conestoga View, 900 E. King St., Lancaster with Pastor Dan Brubaker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Conestoga View. Burial will be in Middle Octorara United Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Quarryville.
