Mildred J. Caterbone, 78, of Lancaster died Monday night at her home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Norman P. and Eva Mae Fink Reikard. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Caterbone who died April 1, 2009.

Mildred was a secretary for General Cigar for 35 years and a graduate of McCaskey High School.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was a seamstress and loved making crafts and taking them to Nursing Homes. She was an avid camper and loved the beach.  She enjoyed going to yard sales.

Surviving are her three children: Joseph R. Jr. husband of Sandy L. Caterbone, Conshohocken, PA, Cynthia L. wife of Richard E. Rohrer, Lancaster, Christine M. Heinley, Lancaster, six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one great, great, grandchild, and a brother, Norman husband of Toni Reikard, Marietta, PA. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dayna.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster, PA on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11:00AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. Friends may pay their respects to the family from 10-11:00AM on Friday at the church. Please omit flowers.
