Mildred "Millie" A. Litz, 79, of New Providence, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Kuwock) and John Worobel. She was the eldest of 5 siblings. Mildred was the beloved wife of Charles F. Litz. Millie and Charlie had resided in Lancaster County for the past 50 years.

Millie enjoyed a distinguished career in aviation. Prior to her retirement, she worked as an Aviation Inspector and dedicated 27 years to Boeing. Her commitment to the field led her to pursue advanced aviator training at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she completed specialized coursework on the Osprey CV aircraft.

Outside of her professional life, Millie was passionate about giving back and embracing life. She volunteered at the Lancaster Animal Shelter for over 10 years and enjoyed traveling and boating, pursuits that brought her great joy and relaxation.

Millie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Litz; her children, Judith Christiana, Shelly Laubert, and James Christiana (Tracy); eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild and three great-grandchildren. She remained a steady presence within her family.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30AM on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. A viewing will be held from 10AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Boehms United Methodist Cemetery.
