Michina A. "Mickie" Palumbo, 83, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Heart of Lancaster Hospital. She was born in Lancaster and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Justina (Costarella) Palumbo.

Mickie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church most of her life and then later became a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church after moving to Lancashire Nursing Home.

She attended Lancaster Catholic High School.

Mickie retired from Kerr Glass after forty two years of employment.

Mickie enjoyed traveling, spending time with her nieces and nephews and driving her car.

Surviving are three nieces, Justina I. Elliot of Lancaster, Linda Palumbo of Lancaster, Meekina Lopane of Lancaster, and a nephew Joseph C. Palumbo husband of Raphael of Afton, NY, a great niece Christina Fulton of Lancaster, and many loving great nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial from St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 10am with Rev. Paul Oye as the Celebrant. Friends may pay their respects to the family from 9-10am at the church.
