The stars in the sky became dimmer on May 22, 2023 with the passing of Michelle Santiago. Michelle was born in Brooklyn, New York to Angel R. Santiago and Natividad Gonzalez.

After high school, she worked at UNFI as an inventory controller and went on to marry her best friend and love of her life, Eiris Fernandez.

Michelle had a creative soul and loved crafting. She had a refined skill at customizing cups, mugs and shirts. When not creating designs and crafting, she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband Eiris and her parents Angel and Natividad, Michelle is survived by her brothers Angel Gonzalez (husband of Paris Grace) and Noah Santiago; nephews Dominik and Silas Gonzalez; three aunts Carmen Gonzalez, Mariam Suchanic, Marisol Santiago; three uncles Nelson Vega, Benito Santiago and Wilfredo Santiago; and lastly, her dear sweet dog Panther and cat Simba.

Michelle is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Maria Portalatin and Esteban Gonzalez and her paternal grandparents Mercedes Martinez and Remy Santiago.

Family will receive friends Friday, May 26, 2023 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 East King Street, Lancaster, PA. 17602 from 5pm-7pm. A celebration of Michelle's life will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
