IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael P.
Teague
October 21, 2024
Michael P. Teague, 56, of Lititz passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Bronx, NY, he was the eldest son of the late Nora (Shally) and Charles Teague.
Michael was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching football particularly Notre Dame football games and was an especially passionate fan of the New York Yankees.
He enjoyed going to the movies and traveling with his brother and was a dedicated member of Narcotics Anonymous attending many of their conventions. Even during his illness, he was determined to be of service, and did so by chairing his homegroup meeting every Saturday in his own unique style.
He was affectionately known as "Uncle Mikey" to many of his friends. As godfather, and honorary uncle, respectively, to Henry and Ava Ginder, whom he loved dearly, he never missed a baptism, first communion, confirmation, graduation, birthday or Christmas. His presence at these events always made them extra special. He also had a special place in his heart for Claire, Lorelei and Hawke Shepro, who fondly referred to him as "Uncle Monkey."
He had a way of making everyone smile and will surely be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his brother, Charles J. Teague of Lititz, family in New York and Ireland, as well as many loving friends and his beloved dog, Maggie.
A viewing will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the funeral home. Family and Friends will be received from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
