Michael A. Kelly, 65, of Lancaster, passed away at his home on Wednesday evening with his family by his side. Born August 18, 1943, in Cresson PA, he was a son of the late Ernest and Lorine Parrish Kelly.

Mr. Kelly was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He was a third degree knight in the Knights of Columbus, Lancaster Council 867. Mr. Kelly was employed by Lancaster Newspapers for 39 years as a typesetter and composer.

Mr. Kelly is survived by three daughters: Kathleen R., wife of Hector E. Estrada of Lancaster, Patricia A., wife of Christopher A. Burnett of Lancaster, and Janet I. Kelly of Lancaster; eleven grandchildren; Jessica, Kristin, Victoria, Tiffany, Anthony, Christopher, Michael, Daniel, Johnathan, Joseph, and Tony; one great-grandchild, Connor; a sister, Rita Rizzo, and a brother, Kenneth Kelly. He was preceded in death by a grandson Ryan; a brother Joseph, and a sister Geraldine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 5, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. from St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd. Lancaster with Msgr. Richard Youtz as celebrant. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements by the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel.
