Michael G. Drenchko, Sr., 92, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on May 26, 2025. He was born in Johnstown, PA.

Michael honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War, demonstrating the values he held dear. Following his military duty, he continued his service as a member of the Pennsylvania State Police for 34 years, where he upheld the law with integrity, strength, and compassion.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol. He is survived by his children: Michael G. Drenchko, Jr. and his wife Rebecca; Mark Drenchko and his wife Louisa; and Renee Wolfer, wife of the late Kevin Wolfer. He was the proud and caring grandfather to Mark, Rachel, Erin, Cameron, and Matthew.

He was a loving husband and father. Known for his steadfast character, unwavering work ethic and his generosity, Michael was respected by all who knew him and will deeply be missed by those whose lives he touched over the years.

A private service will be held to honor his life and legacy.
