Melvin Myer Martin, 74, of Randallstown Md., passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Hospice of West Palm Beach Florida.

Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Christian Zimmerman Martin and Alva Myer Martin. Melvin was one of 10 children. He was the husband of Arlene Saks Martin.

Melvin was employed by Breakbush for many years as a salesman.

He was a member of Neffsville Mennonite Church as well as North Baltimore Mennonite Church. Melvin enjoyed traveling and visiting Florida. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Jackie Hair, wife of John Hair; Wes Martin, husband of Elizabeth Martin; 3 children by marriage, Mitchell Saks, husband of Lisa Saks; Howard Saks, husband of Nancy; and Lauren Saks; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, March 19 at Neffsville Mennonite Church, 2371 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA at 10:00 a.m.. Friends may be received at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, on Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at East Petersburg Mennonite Church Cemetery.
