May A. Bury, 79, of Lancaster, PA, passed away at Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. She was the wife of Charles E. Bury, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage this past December 5th. Born in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Virgie Orwick Keech. May had been the assistant treasurer for Dauphin Deposit Bank in Lancaster, working there for 25 years until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, sitting out in the sun and camping with her husband and family. She loved her Golden Retriever, Sable. May was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, Charles, she is survived by her children: Linda S. married to Jay Duffey of Lancaster and Charles E. II, married to Marsha Bury of Lancaster; her three grandsons Charles, Marshall, and Jay; her 5 great grandchildren and her brother, Thomas W. Keech of Ephrata. She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Grove. Friends will be received on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from 10:30AM-11AM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park.
