Max Arena, 32, of Lancaster, died unexpectedly on August 4, 2006.

Born in McKeesport, PA, Max was the son of Patrick J. Arena, husband of Jessami R. Arena of Wrightsville and Marjorie A. Shultz, wife of Lee Scott Shultz of Lancaster.

Max graduated from Ephrata High School in 1992, and from Brownstown Vo Tech where he studied Masonry. He was formerly a manager of Doc Holliday's Steakhouse in Harrisburg and most recently worked at the Doc Holliday's in Lancaster.

An avid Steelers fan, Max enjoyed football, kayaking, swimming, cooking and watching movies.

In addition to his parents, Max is survived by a son, Tyler, of Lancaster; a brother, Leland of Lancaster, a nephew, Aaron, of Wrightsville, and by his grandparents, Joseph and Marie Arena of Akron, PA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Monday at 7:30 p.m. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 5:30 until the time of service. Interment Tuesday at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
