Maurice C. 'Clint' Frontz, Jr., 89, of Lititz, died on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Clint was born in Lancaster to Maurice C. Frontz and Ruth E. Frontz of Lancaster.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served as Chief Dispatcher of the 536th Firefighting Platoon, stationed in the Panama Canal Zone, and was honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant.

A 1960 graduate of Gettysburg College, he was a Pennsylvania public school teacher for 35 years, teaching junior-high social studies in the New Oxford School District from 1960-65, and Driver Education at Manheim Central High School from 1965 to 1994. He served as a PIAA swimming and track official from 1965 to 2020.

In his retirement, he worked for Hondru Ford of Manheim and enjoyed travel.

He was an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Lancaster, serving as the Head Usher, a Counter, and as a Communion Assistant.

He is survived by Mary Ann (Shenk) Frontz, his wife of 57 years; his sons, The Rev. Maurice C. Frontz III (Rebecka) of Pittsburgh, and David M. Frontz, of Lancaster, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Howard C. and Thomas E. Frontz.

Friends may visit with Clint's family on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10 Delp Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601 from 6-8PM and again on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 10-11AM, with the Memorial Service to follow at 11AM. Interment will be private.
