Maryanne (McGlynn) Leauby, 61, of Mountville, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Philadelphia to Mary (Gavaghan) McGlynn of Dresher, PA and the late Lawrence McGlynn.

Maryanne is survived by her husband, Gary C. Leauby, Sr., of Mountville. They celebrated 43 years of marriage in October.

Maryanne most recently was a nurse for the Susquehanna Family Health Center in Marietta and prior to that she was a nurse for nine years at LGH in the Medical Surgical Department on 7 North. Previous to her nursing career, Maryanne owned and operated Food Services at the PA Renaissance Faire, Downstairs at Liberty at Liberty Place, and held various restaurant management positions.

Maryanne was very proud of her Irish heritage, and enjoyed visiting Ireland on vacations.

Maryanne was a member at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister, taught religious studies, and volunteered for her church for numerous activities.

She was a volunteer for the following organizations, Hospice of Lancaster County, Lancaster Help Line, and the March of Dimes.

Maryanne loved the game of golf. She was a member of Conestoga Country Club and the Women's Central Pennsylvania Golf Association (WCPGA). She enjoyed hosting tailgate parties at Penn State football games and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Gary, are two sons, Gary, Jr., of Richmond, VA, Brian A., husband of Cathy of Elkridge, MD, two daughters, Jennifer A. wife of John Heredia, of Towson, MD, Kimberly A., wife of Frank Barbarino, of Parkton, MD, six grandchildren, Mia, Olivia, and Alex Barbarino, Mary Fleming, Kari and London Heredia, two brothers, Lawrence McGlynn, of Dresher, PA, Mark McGlynn, husband of Eva, of Cranford, NJ, two sisters, Nancy Myers, wife of Steven, of Horsham, PA, Clare Forlenza, wife of Philip, of Wall Township, NJ and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11am from St. Leo the Great Catholic Church 2427 Marietta Ave. Lancaster, PA 17601 with The Rev. Peter I. Hahn as Celebrant. Viewings will be held Thursday from 6-9pm at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory 3110 Lititz Pk. Lititz, PA 17543 and again at the church on Friday from 10-11am. Final farewell and commendation will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
