Mary (Elisabeth) Bunteman Witmer, wife of Donald E. Witmer, who died February 10th, 2019, Married August 8th, 1953, she was born September 13th 1934 in Lacaster, Pennsylvania to John O. Bunteman and Mary E. (Schickel) Bunteman. Mary was a long-time member of St. Luke's UCC, which later became Trinity UCC- East Petersburg. She was a part of the 1952 graduate class of McCasky Highschool. Mary had a love for bird watching and was known for her witty spirit and great sense of humor. She was sharp as a tac up until the very end and could knock out a crossword in a matter of minutes.

Mary was preceded in death by her son, Scott A. Witmer; her husband, Donald E. Witmer; her four brothers: John, Robert, Eugene, and Elwood Bunteman; and one sister: Ella Frey. Mary is survived by her grandson Bradley S. Witmer, his fiancé, Brittany E. McClure, and her great-granddaughter, Naomi R. Witmer.

Mary's final resting place is beside her late husband in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
