Mary Elizabeth (Cooper) Wilson, 95, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice G. (Wilson) Cooper.

She worked as a nurse's aide for St. Joseph Hospital for 25 years until her retirement.  She also worked part-time for Stephens Tech for 14 years.

Mary attended African United Methodist Pentecostal Church, Lancaster.

She is survived by five daughters:  Dorothy Jane Wilson of CA; JoAnne Johnson of Pottstown; Mary Louise Owens and Merle C. Edmondson, both of Lancaster; and Alice Marie Wesley and her husband Albert of FL; two sons:  William E. Wilson and his wife Pamela J., and Charles Wilson and his wife Neia, all of Lancaster; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 28, 2013 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster with Pastor Don A. Darden, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster.
