Mary Jane Walschburger, 87, of Lancaster, formerly of Reading, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillie (Petticoffer) Faust. She was the loving wife of H. Albert Walschburger with whom she shared over 65 years of marriage. She was a member of the Reading Liederkranz where she was involved in the G.T.V. Edelweiss Schuhplatter dance group for many years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who affectionately knew her as "Oma". In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a daughter, Susan Marie Getz wife of Troy of Ephrata. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Michael, Cory, Tammy, Kelly, Erik and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, David Albert Walschburger, a brother, Leroy Faust Jr, a sister, Dorothy Lorraine Shade, stepbrother, Calvin Englehart and stepsister, Betty Zettlemoyer. Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Private interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
