Mary Lou Strayer, 78, died peacefully at home of pancreatic cancer on July 15, 2017. Born in Shenandoah, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Paskey) Richwalski. Mary Lou retired as the Millersville Borough Secretary. Following retirement, she affirmed her love of animals and became an agility trainer. She touched countless lives in the agility community – both human and canine. Her own dog, Storm, won his MACH in agility in 2015. She was a member of the Lancaster Kennel Club and the Dauphin Dog Training Club. Mary Lou is survived by a sister, Catherine Krajewski, wife of Conrad; a brother, Michael, husband of Veronica; and nieces & nephews. There will be no service. Memorial contributions may be made to an animal welfare or nature preservation charity of your choice.
