Mary Ann Spohn, 83, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 28, 2016, at Lancaster Regional Hospital. Born in Lancaster to the late Dominic and Teresa (Paparo) Pugliese, Mary Ann was the loving wife of Robert W. Spohn, with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage.

Mary Ann was a nurse and was the devoted mother of two daughters: Teresa Wall, wife of Scott, of Lancaster, and Elizabeth Mathews, wife of Joseph, also of Lancaster. She is also survived by three grandsons: Kyle and Jarrett Wall, and John (J.J.) Mathews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Leonard, James, Anthony, and Antoinette Pugliese.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM, on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 W. Walnut St., Lancaster, PA 17603, with the Rev. Michael Messner, as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received at the church from 10-11AM prior to Mass. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary Ann's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Rd., Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
