Mary M. Rottmund, 94, of Lancaster, PA passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Evergreen Estates. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Rottmund who died this past November. Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Rosa (Bomberger) Treier. Mary was a 1939 graduate of Strasburg High School. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, Life member of VFW Post 7294 in Millersville and the AMVETS Post 19 Ladies Auxiliary. Mary is survived by two sisters Helen Gilbert of Lancaster, PA and Dorothy Dippner of Paradise, PA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers John, Charles, Francis, Robert, Joseph, Richard and James Treier and sisters Elizabeth Waltman, Rose Phillips, Anna Hoffheinz, Ida Hersh and Barbara Ritchey. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11AM from St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike Lancaster, PA 17603 with Fr. Larry Sherdel as celebrant. Interment will be held in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. A viewing will be held one hour prior to Mass at the Church.
