Mary E. Rohrer, 78, of Willow Street, passed away at her residence on Monday, September 16, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was the wife of Charles F. Rohrer, with whom she shared 35 years of marriage this past June 10th. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Aldus and Evelyn Himmelreich Haldeman.

Mary had worked in various local factories over the years, retiring from Slaymaker Lock Company. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Donald Danz, Michelle Turner, Melissa Teaman, Cheryl Hess, and Jeffrey Constein; her 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received by Mary's family on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Grace Community Church of Willow Street, 212 Peach Bottom Rd., Willow Street, PA 17584 from 10-11AM, with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM. Interment will be in Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery at 130PM. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her memory to Grace Community Church at the above address.
