Mary C. Nissley, 90, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, June 4, 2010 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. She was born in Lancaster to the late Matthew and Margaret (Ritchey) Trapnell.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Nissley in 1993.

Mary was a 1938 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

Mary was a beautician and hair dresser. She operated her own shop from her home for many years.

She enjoyed dining out, watching TV, and was a Phillies fan.

Mary is survived by two children, son, Bill Nissley DO, of Lancaster, daughter, Dorothy A. Chandler, of Leesburg, FL, two brothers, Charles Trapnell, of Brentwood, CA and Richard Trapnell, of Larkspur, CA. She was preceded in death by three siblings, a sister, Sarah Devaney, two brothers, William and Joey Trapnell.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday June 9, 2010 from Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church 558 W. Walnut St. Lancaster, PA 17603 with The Rev. Michael E. Messner as Celebrant. A closed casket visitation will take place at church from 10:30-11am.
