Mary E. (Wagner) Merlo, 91, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, December 14 ^th , 2008 at Landis Homes. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Magdelena ( Hagelstein) Wagner. She was preceded in death by her husband,  Raymond J. Merlo who passed away 1990.

Surviving are her three daughters Carolyn Faggart of Lancaster, Marilyn, wife of Michael McCollum of Fairfax, VA, Joan, wife of Dennis Thorseth of Crofton, MD, one son, Raymond J Merlo Jr of Deerfield, NY, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren. Mary is predeceased by a sister, Anna Lippemeier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17 ^th , 2008 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 East Delp Road, Lancaster, PA, 17601 at 11AM, with Rev. Richard A. Youtz as Celebrant. Preceded by a viewing from 10:30AM until the time of the service. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY. Arrangements by the Charles F.
