Mary Louise Jones, 70, of Lancaster, passed away at home on Monday, March 13, 2006 after a lengthy illness.  Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late August and Blanche Pinkerton Knell.  She was the wife of the late Robert W. Jones.

A graduate of the Pottsville Hospital School of Nursing, she worked as a registered nurse in the operating room at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the former Community Osteopathic Hospital of Reading, and the former St. Joseph's Hospital of Lancaster. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pottsville.

She is survived by a sister, Jean Knell of Lancaster.

The funeral service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA on Friday at 6:00 p.m. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00-6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Dr., P.O.
