Mary Jane (Rutt) Herr, 93, formerly of Lampeter, peacefully entered her eternal heavenly home on Saturday, June 16, 2018. She most recently resided at Fairmount Homes, Ephrata, Pa.

Along with her husband, the late Glenn G. Herr, Mary Jane enjoyed assisting in the family flower business, the former Herr's Flowers, Lampeter. She was known to brighten many with her cheery floral deliveries.

Mary Jane enjoyed being with her family, had a fun sense of humor, and was a devoted member of Willow Street Mennonite Church.

Born in Strasburg, Pa, Mary Jane was the daughter of the late Elmer and Anna (Martin) Rutt. She is survived by daughters, Marlene – wife of Robert Groff of Leola, Carol- wife of Daniel Neff, Manheim; a son, Dan – husband of Carolyn Herr, Lampeter; 12 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, David M. Rutt.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Mary Jane's Life on Saturday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Willow Street Mennonite Church, corner of Penn Grant Rd and Hans Herr Drive, Willow Street. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11:00 a.m. Interment at convenience of family.
