Mary K. Hannigan, 85, of Lititz, died Monday August 27, at Brethren Village.

Born in Drumlish County, Longford, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Mimneaugh Lennon. She was the wife of the late John J. Hannigan.

Mary was a homemaker and member of St. James Catholic Church, Lititz. She raised peacocks and sheep in Honeybrook.

Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann Hannigan, of Lititz, and her grandson, Sean Patrick H. Wernersbach, her siblings, Kevin, Peter, and Patrick Carolan, and Lucy Carolan Brady, all born in Ireland.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. from St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz. Burial will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Friends will be received from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m.
