Mary K. Eby, formerly of 543 E. Roseville Rd., passed away on Monday at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. She was currently residing at St. Anne's Retirement Community.

She was the wife of the late Robert K. Eby who passed away in 2004. Born in Lancaster, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Mary Gegg Klein.

Mary had worked as a bookkeeper for Lancaster Catholic High School for 20 years. Prior to this, she had worked for the former Lancaster Loan Co. from 1943 to 1952.

She was a member of St.Anne's Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Mothers Club. She enjoyed hiking and camping, bird watching and spending time at Long Park. She was also a member of the Dominican Auxiliary.

Mary is survived by her children: Carolyn M. married to William Work of Elkridge, MD and Robert K. Jr. married to Susan Eby of Mountville; her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and her sister, Sister M. Francine Klein CSC of Brazil. She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Carl and John Klein, and her sisters, Sister M. Viola Klein CSC and Elizabeth Hendricks.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 10-11AM at the chapel at St. Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia, PA with the Mass to follow at 11AM.
