Mary Jane Diirner, 64, of East Petersburg, passed away under hospice care at her nephew's home in Ephrata on Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was born in Lancaster to Ruth Ellen (Allison) Diirner of Huntington, PA and the late Charles M. DiIrner.

A graduate of Warwick High School, she worked in the accounting office of several Giant Foods stores, retiring from the Kissel Hill store. Mary Jane enjoyed spending time with her puppies, doing word searches and reading. In her younger years, Mary Jane was a former Girl Scout assistant leader.

Mary Jane is survived by her mother Ruth E. Diirner, three nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her father Charles M. Diirner, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her brother Charles L. "Chuck" Diirner and her nephew Charles M. "Chuck" Diirner.

Following Mary Jane's wishes, private interment will take place in Conestoga Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
