Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Dietrich, 89, of Lancaster died Friday, November 19, 2010 at St. John Mercy Hospital in Missouri. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Helen Yeager Fralich. Betty was the wife of the late John W. Dietrich who died September 14, 1996.

She was an administrator at McCaskey High School for many years and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lancaster.

Surviving are her two children: Brian Dietrich, Frisco,Texas, Kathleen J. wife of Kevin Koboldt, Ballwin , MO, six grandchildren: Jennifer wife of Brant Bukowsky, Daniel husband of Christina Koboldt, Timothy husband of Robin Koboldt, Kevin F. Koboldt, Brian Kyle Dietrich, Jordan Elizabeth Dietrich, three great grandchildren, and two sisters, Amelia Falk and Patricia wife of Jim Wilson.

A Mass of Christian Prayer will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440, St. Joseph Street, Lancaster, Pa on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00AM with Msgr. Thomas Smith as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. There will be a viewing at the church on Wednesday from 10-11:00AM.
