Mary J. Devlin, 82, of Strasburg, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the Lancaster General Hospital. She celebrated 61 years of marriage with her husband Robert W. Devlin last September 2 ^nd . Born in Bradford, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold W. and Sara Evans Jackson.

Mary earned her secretarial degree from the former Marjorie Webster Junior College in Silver Spring, MD. A homemaker, Mary enjoyed playing golf. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband Robert are three children, Linda D., wife of Scott E. Nutt, Clearfield, Robert W., Jr., husband of Margaret Devlin, Elizabethtown, and William J., Sr., husband of Sally Devlin, Lincoln University, six grandsons and one great-grandson. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers George E. Jackson and Harold W. Jackson, Jr.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place 11AM Saturday, January 14, 2012, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, with The Rev. Ronald J. Moratelli as Celebrant. A Viewing will be held 2 to 4 PM Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. There will be no viewing on Saturday, however friends may greet the family at the church from 10:30 to 11 AM. Private Interment in St. Bernard Cemetery, Bradford, PA. Please omit flowers.
