Mary A. Cameron, 79, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late John B. and Anna (Neubauer) Simet. Mary was the wife of Harry R. Cameron with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Mary retired after 29 years of service as an Operating Room Tech with Lancaster General Hospital.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Harry, are four children: Edward Cameron of Lancaster, Doloris Cameron of Lancaster, John Cameron, husband of Pam, of Lititz and Christopher M. Cameron of Lancaster; four grandchildren: Jonathon, Caitlyn, Luke and Jennifer Cameron all of Lancaster; and a sister, Rose Brooks, wife of Donald, of Willow Street. Mary was preceded in death by three siblings: John Simet, Anna Rinier and Lena Flora.

A Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will take place from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 131 S. Queen St., Lancaster, PA 17603.
