Martin C. Von Stetten Jr., 77, of Columbia passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Martin C. Sr. and Clara Mae Fisher Von Stetten. He was the loving husband of Rebecca Brown Von Stetten and they celebrated 52 years of marriage this past February. Martin put his family above all else and never failed to make it to every sporting event for his children and grandkids. He liked the New York Yankees, Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Flyers Fan but was overall a sports enthusiast. Sunday cookouts are a time his family will forever cherish. If you ever asked if he was grilling the answer was always "it's Sunday ain't it". There was always plenty of food and love.

He had a general fondness for music. He really did love listening to music and would often pull up in the car with music blasting and singing along. Sometimes it was embarrassing but now it's a fond memory.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Rebecca, are five children, Alegra E. wife of Christopher Grove, Martin C. Von Stetten III, Aisha S. Mowrer, Austin R. Von Stetten, Rory M. Von Stetten, and 7 grandchildren, Gabriel, Cleo, Emma, Bennett, Braden, Aiden, Myla and 4 siblings, Roy, Donna, Deborah, and Ed. Preceding him in death are 3 siblings, Martha, Karen and John.
